After re-applying the matt black paint after some final sanding , I taped up the grip ready to apply the pattern. I applied a heavier amount of silver first, followed by a lighter spray for the alternative squares. I had a little bit of trouble with the taping, trying to decide what to do where the tape meets in the middle, as its on the finger grip itself, I’m not too bothered by how it comes out as I plan to shade it with the black lacquer and and as it’s my first attempt at something like that I’m hoping it’ll give me some ideas for future attempts on what to do (or not to do!)
While taping the grip vertically, I quite liked how the green looked going down, perhaps an idea for a future custom blaster!
